...if I could pick a word for our safari trip to Africa, it would be: Unforgettable! Kate, you are so on it! Even little problems are taken care of confidently and in a timely manner. I think all the work that you did beforehand, keeping us organized, making sure we had the visas, insurances, etc. (even when we didn't listen!), was immensely helpful. You shared appropriate clothing, mosquito deterrent, and all the information we needed to be well-prepared. It would have been beyond me to get it all done without your help. You made a complicated and complex trip very manageable. Both my husband and I are so grateful and appreciative of your calm and efficient expertise.

As an independent traveller, I like cruises that include small town experiences with local guides, whether a river cruise in France or a cruise circumnavigating Iceland, and with hiking options where possible. My recent trip of a lifetime was a stunning journey through Peru followed by an unforgettable Galapagos cruise, and I was so well taken care of thanks to the planning and support of Kate.

My tour through Peru which Kate suggested took care of me every step of the way, and I never had any worries or issues.  It was well chosen, using local guides who were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, adding so much depth to my experience in Peru.  Kate had also suggested an add on to the tour, which gave me 4 days and 3 nights in the Amazon jungle, which I never would have considered.  It was a definite highlight of my time in Peru.

Kate then organized well timed connections from Peru to Ecuador where I went on a fantastic adventure tour through the Galapagos.  Every day was stunning and unforgettable, and I was able to match the multiple daily excursion options to the activity level that I wanted.  The cruise had fewer passengers, an excellent and incredibly knowledgeable crew, and great food.  It couldn’t have been better.

My trip was complex trip with many moving parts, but Kate made it feel seamless. She took care of all of the details and her communication throughout the planning process was exceptional, and she truly cared that I had a great experience.

Kate found the perfect option — a repositioning cruise from Vancouver on the Norwegian Jade, with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, then continuing on to Seattle, Astoria, San Francisco, and San Diego, where I took the Amtrak back to Vancouver. Tku for all your advice and support in preparing us for the trip to Thailand and Vietnam.  We returned last night.   Everything was fabulous and amazing.  I had the best time ever – seeing so much, learning a lot and just having fun. 

I also very much appreciated my seats on the flights which you so artfully arranged.  Even tho I was in the back, the space was generous and the time slipped by.  Our guide in Chiang Mai was great, and very knowledgeable and - of course - the highlight was seeing the elephants.  As well the cooking school (Grandma’s) was terrific.  The variety of activities and sights was perfect in both countries.
